Business Process Automation

The work your team does every day that a computer should be doing instead.

The scope

The best automation removes a repeated decision or transfer without making exceptions invisible. I start by watching how the work happens today, including the steps people take when data is incomplete. Then I build the smallest reliable connection, script or internal tool that fits. Published projects include order, booking and operational workflows, but each new process has its own owners and failure cases.

When this helps
  • Someone re-enters the same information in several tools each day
  • A routine task is slow because it depends on copying from email or spreadsheets
  • A failed automated step currently disappears without anyone noticing

What I can deliver

  1. A map of the current workflow, owners and manual exceptions

  2. A prioritised automation scope with a clear trigger and expected result

  3. The agreed script, API connection or internal interface with error handling

  4. Tests and handover notes showing how staff can inspect and correct failures

How I work

Observe the work

I map the normal path and the exceptions that experienced staff already know how to handle.

Choose the boundary

I decide with you which steps can be automated safely and which still need a person.

Implement and test

I build the agreed flow and test missing, repeated and incorrect inputs.

Make errors visible

I document who receives failures, what can be retried and what requires a manual decision.

From $490per project

One bounded connection between existing systems

This price covers the starting scope described above. I confirm a quote after reviewing your brief and existing systems. Third-party fees are separate.

90-day cover for delivered development

For development work I deliver, I correct defects in the agreed scope reported within 90 days of launch. New features, changes by others and third-party outages are separate work.

Frequently asked questions

Will automation replace the people doing this work?

The first aim is to remove repetitive transfers and make exceptions easier to handle. I define human review points instead of silently automating judgement calls.

Do I need new software?

Often not. I first check what your existing systems expose through APIs, webhooks or exports. I recommend a new tool only when it simplifies the whole process.

How do I know a workflow has failed?

I include the relevant logs, alerts or retry path in the agreed scope. A flow that fails quietly is unfinished.
