The challenge

An event business distributed tickets through several external platforms and needed a consolidated view. Each platform organised its information differently, making repeated manual collection a poor fit for event reporting.

The approach

Four Laravel importers were connected to a WordPress plugin. Administration can initiate collection, associate the data with events and create reports for the relevant promoters.

The project, in detail

Separate importers, shared reporting

Ticketac, Fnac, Ticketnet and Billetreduc each have their own importer. Their sales and remaining-ticket data are collected into the shared reporting workflow despite differences between the source websites.

Events and ticket categories

The administrator configures events, ticket types and their tax rates. This gives imported sales the context needed to generate reports by event, selected events or promoter.

Reporting on a schedule

The plugin supports summary reports after an event and at month end, with email distribution to promoters. The work joins collection and reporting instead of stopping at a raw export from each platform.

The outcome

Delivered

One event-reporting workflow fed by four ticketing-platform importers.
