Lieferchef
online ordering for restaurant teams
I treat kitchen hours, delivery zones and advance orders as product rules that each restaurant must be able to configure itself.

The challenge
A Swiss provider needed a restaurant product it could deploy repeatedly and sell through subscriptions. A standard shop could take payment, but it did not understand kitchen schedules, delivery areas or the choices attached to a meal.
The approach
I worked with OnePix collaborators on a WordPress and WooCommerce plugin that brings those operating rules into the ordering flow. Restaurant owners can configure the service through their site instead of commissioning a separate integration for each location.
The project, in detail
The images show the interface and its context. Captions distinguish project archives from current-site views.
The menu follows the kitchen
Delivery and collection have separate schedules, including breaks and lunch periods. Advance orders respect those schedules; table bookings can also include dishes selected in the basket.
Local delivery rules
Address-based settings connect delivery time, minimum order and delivery fee. Operators can suspend service to an address while keeping the rest of their delivery setup available.
A configurable commercial product
Meal add-ons, optional extras, tips and targeted promotions extend the checkout. A PWA setup generates the files needed to make the restaurant site accessible as an installable web application.
The outcome
A reusable restaurant plugin spanning ordering, fulfilment and customer promotions.
Details of Lieferchef
How did ordering respect restaurant hours?
Delivery and collection used separate schedules with breaks. Advance orders followed those windows, and table reservations could include dishes selected in the basket.
Could the same product be used by more than one restaurant?
Yes. The WooCommerce plugin was configurable per location, including delivery areas, fees, meal extras and promotions.
