Custom CRM Software Development

Customer and operational records organized around the work, not the other way around.

The scope

A CRM is more than a contacts table. It records what happened, who owns the next step and which other system must know about it. I help define or modernize that workflow when a standard setup or an older custom tool no longer fits. The Hebset case documents a legacy CRM rewrite and a connected portal. Other cases cover scoped CRM integrations; I keep those separate from a claim to have built an entire CRM.

When this helps
  • An older CRM is difficult to change and staff maintain parallel spreadsheets
  • Sales or service handoffs disappear between tools
  • Your portal needs current CRM data and a clear rule for which system owns each record

What I can deliver

  1. A model for contacts, accounts, activities and the states your team actually uses

  2. Role-based workspaces and forms for the people entering or reviewing records

  3. Integration points for a website, portal, billing or other operational system

  4. A migration and adoption plan that accounts for existing data and daily work

How I work

Follow the record

I track a real customer or service request from entry through handoff, action and closure.

Set responsibilities

I define data ownership, roles and the minimum workflow before choosing between extension and rebuild.

Build in stages

I implement the agreed records, actions and connections, then test them with representative data.

Move the team

I plan migration, documentation and a handover that lets staff keep working through the change.

Frequently asked questions

Should we build a new CRM or extend the one we have?

I start by testing whether the existing system can support the missing workflow. A focused integration or extension is often the smaller and safer choice. A rebuild needs a clear reason and migration plan.

Is this the same as CRM integration?

No. Integration moves information between existing systems. Custom CRM development changes or creates the records, interfaces and workflow used by the team. A project may need both.

Can you migrate our historical data?

I can scope a migration after reviewing formats, duplicates, required fields and what must remain accessible. I do not promise a clean import before seeing the data.
