Node.js Backend Development

APIs and services shaped around your data and traffic.

The scope

A Node.js service earns its place when it solves a defined backend problem, such as an API, asynchronous task or connection between existing systems. I begin with data contracts, operating constraints and what must happen when a dependency fails. The current public portfolio does not include a verified standalone Node.js delivery, so I do not borrow a React or API case as proof. I can assess your requirement and make the implementation scope explicit before any commitment.

When this helps
  • A product needs a small service or API that current software cannot provide
  • Several systems exchange data but failures are hard to trace
  • An existing Node.js backend needs a scoped review before more features are added

What I can deliver

  1. A backend scope and API contract based on the data consumers actually need

  2. Endpoints or background tasks with validation and explicit error behavior

  3. Authentication and access rules suited to the agreed environment

  4. Tests, deployment notes and an operational handover for the delivered service

How I work

Define the contract

I establish consumers, data shape, authentication and failure cases before choosing implementation details.

Build the service

I implement the agreed routes or jobs with validation, logging and appropriate tests.

Prepare operation

I document configuration, deployment and what the client should monitor after release.

Starting point
From $790per project

A defined improvement to an existing application

This price covers the starting scope described above. I confirm a quote after reviewing your brief and existing systems. Third-party fees are separate.

Send a brief on WhatsApp
90-day cover for delivered development

For development work I deliver, I correct defects in the agreed scope reported within 90 days of launch. New features, changes by others and third-party outages are separate work.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a public Node.js backend case?

Not in the current public archive. I will not relabel another technology's case. I can review your brief and discuss the relevant architecture and delivery approach directly.

Does a React frontend require Node.js?

No. React can connect to many backend stacks. I choose Node.js only if it fits the existing systems and the service's needs.

Can you take over an existing service?

I can assess it after reviewing the repository, runtime, tests and deployment setup. The review determines whether a focused change is responsible.
