Headless CMS Development

Content your team can manage. A frontend shaped around it.

The scope

A headless setup separates editing from presentation, but that separation is only useful if the content model and API stay understandable. I start with the people publishing the material, the channels consuming it and the cost of maintaining two layers. The Grantix case documents a Next.js application with WordPress and WooCommerce used as a headless administration layer. It is evidence of that architecture, not proof of work in every headless CMS named in a technology list.

When this helps
  • The same structured content must appear in more than one interface
  • Your frontend needs freedom that CMS templates cannot give it
  • Editors need a familiar administration workflow while the public site changes

What I can deliver

  1. Content types and relationships designed for editors and consuming interfaces

  2. An API boundary between the CMS and the frontend with clear ownership of data

  3. Frontend templates and previews for the page types the team actually publishes

  4. Permissions, migration notes and handover for both editing and development

How I work

Understand the editorial job

I map content types, editors, approvals and where each item appears.

Define the boundary

I choose the CMS and API shape after checking preview, localization and maintenance needs.

Connect and verify

I implement the agreed integration and test content changes from editor entry through published page.

Frequently asked questions

Does headless mean I need a new CMS?

No. WordPress can serve content through an API while a separate frontend renders it. I first review what the team already uses well.

Is a headless site always faster?

No. Performance depends on rendering, data access, images and hosting. The extra architecture has to earn its cost.

Have you used all CMS platforms listed on the page?

The public case here specifically documents headless WordPress and WooCommerce with Next.js. Other tools are options to evaluate for a new brief, not claimed portfolio deliveries.
