The challenge
Yoga Studio Fox already had an online course platform. It needed changes to custom tax-calculation logic and templates rebuilt around WooCommerce standards. The task was to improve an existing product, not create its brand or course photography.
The approach
I worked on the tax logic and rebuilt the affected templates to follow WooCommerce conventions within the existing WordPress platform.
The project, in detail
The images show the interface and its context. Captions distinguish project archives from current-site views.
The price shown to the student
My scope included custom tax-calculation logic. For a course business, the amount displayed in the purchase journey is part of the customer experience as well as the store’s underlying calculations. This was software work, not tax advice.
Templates that fit WooCommerce
I reworked templates around WooCommerce standards. The aim was to make the existing implementation fit the commerce system rather than maintain a separate set of assumptions in each page.
Joining an existing course business
My involvement was focused on development and support in 2024–2025. I worked inside an existing platform while the client continued to manage its courses and brand. That is the kind of engagement where I can contribute without replacing the whole product.
The outcome
Custom tax logic and template changes in an existing course platform.
