The challenge

Skillcrawl combined courses, resumes and a job board. The client needed changes to its existing WordPress recruitment features, rather than a replacement platform. My assignment covered the job-posting plugin, resume and search forms, and notifications when new vacancies arrived.

The approach

I extended the vacancy plugin, adapted the resume and job-search forms and configured new-vacancy notifications. I worked within the existing WordPress site using PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript. The images shown here are original client illustrations recovered from the public archive; they do not depict my code or the delivered forms.

The project, in detail

Keep the existing job board

I worked on the plugin already used to publish vacancies. This was an extension of the existing recruitment system, so the client could keep its platform while changing specific functions.

Adapt the candidate forms

I customized the resume template and vacancy-search forms. These were the points where visitors entered their information or looked for a suitable role, and the implementation had to fit the site’s existing WordPress templates.

Let people know about new vacancies

I configured notifications for incoming vacancies. The scope was the notification setup itself. I do not have measured application rates or usage figures to report for this work.
