WoolBerries

an online shop for a detailed, colourful assortment

I judge the yarn catalogue by the properties buyers compare, without letting filters flatten colour and product photography.

The challenge

Yarn buyers compare more than product names: composition, colour and intended use all influence a choice. WoolBerries needed to organise a growing assortment for retail and wholesale customers, while making it possible to collect options before committing to an order.

The approach

The WordPress and WooCommerce store pairs a modular homepage with a structured catalogue. The visual presentation gives product imagery room, while category navigation and filtering provide a more precise route through the range.

The project, in detail

The images show the interface and its context. Captions distinguish project archives from current-site views.

Finding a material for the project

Catalogue filters help visitors narrow the selection using product characteristics. This supports shoppers who know what they want as well as those comparing materials for a new piece of work.

A saved selection for a later visit

A wishlist preserves products a customer may want to revisit. Responsive layouts keep the catalogue and shopping controls usable on smaller screens, connecting exploration and purchase without requiring every decision to happen in one session.
