The challenge
Effaliya's travel platform needed a refreshed interface and further development of two distinct account experiences. Hotel operators had to submit and manage their properties, while travelers needed a place to save hotels and make bookings. The scope also included the administration interface and the hotelier application form.
The approach
The layouts were redesigned and rebuilt with Laravel and Vue.js, with separate accounts for hoteliers and travelers. Hoteliers could submit properties for publication after administrator moderation; travelers could add hotels to favorites and book them from their account. It also updated the hotelier form to support the property-submission process.
The project, in detail
The images show the interface and its context. Captions distinguish project archives from current-site views.
One platform, two account journeys
Hoteliers submit properties for administrator moderation before publication. Travelers have a separate account journey for saving hotels to favorites and booking stays.
The surfaces behind each journey
The redesign covered the public website, personal accounts, administration and the hotelier application form. Laravel and Vue.js connected these interface changes, followed by a support phase.
The outcome
Separate hotelier and traveler workspaces
Hotel submissions with administrator moderation
Favorites and hotel bookings
